I am taking a bit of a break this morning from the usual to bring you a little something a friend of mine shared with me this morning.
The company that manufactures the soft drink Dr. Pepper will be giving away free Dr. Pepper to anyone in America who wants it this weekend. Apparently, they made a promise in March of 2008 that they would give a free soda to everyone in America if the long awaited Guns N’ Roses album Chinese Democracy actually went on sale this year. The same album that the band started working on 14 years ago.
Well the band heard the news and made it happen. The album goes on sale this Sunday 11/23/2008 and Dr. Pepper now is going to pay up. This Sunday starting at Midnight, everyone one in America can go to the Dr. Pepper Web site and get a free soda! The coupon will be good until the end of February.
